Golden hour, kept
Your photograph, rebuilt in stained glass, acrylic, resin or mosaic and lit the way that evening was lit. Send one picture and see it in glass in about a minute.

Golden Hour · stained glass
A round suncatcher on a brass chain, the sky cut from coloured glass and leaded by hand, the sun a disc of gold glass on a straight lead horizon. Hang it where the evening reaches it and the real sunset lights it twice.
From $9920, 30 or 50 cmMade to order, 18–25 days

Afterglow · resin
Pigment laid down in layers and sealed under one mirror-glossy flood of clear resin, flecked with gold at the corners. The surface holds a little of the room in it, and the sky underneath holds its colour.

02 / From the evening to the window
One photograph is all it takes. The design comes back in about a minute, and no glass is cut until you have seen it and said yes.
The sunset itself, or the people or the pet who were there. Any time of day works for a portrait; we add the evening.
The studio draws the design: the sky, the line of the sea, the light on the subject. About a minute.
Not quite it? Change the photograph or the line and draw it again. It stays free until you approve one.
Glass cut and leaded, acrylic sealed, resin poured or tiles set, then boxed with its corners protected. The suncatcher in three to four weeks; the panels in about five.
The best photographs are lit from the side with the face clear, and for a sunset, taken with the sun still just above the water.

Create a stained-glass suncatcher of my sunset

04 / Three sizes
The suncatcher comes in three; the panels in the two larger squares. The drawing is to scale.

The kitchen window, the bathroom, the landing. The suncatcher only, and the one most often given.

A full window pane, or a panel above the console and in the hallway. Big enough to read the sky from across the room.

The living-room window, or a panel above the sofa or the bed. The one that stops a guest mid-sentence.
Prices are shown live on every piece and in the studio; the size is chosen there, once you have seen your design.
05 / For the one who was there
Most of what we make leaves as a gift. Put their address at checkout and it goes straight to them, boxed with its corners protected, and you can see the design before they do.
The sunset from the night it started, with the place and the date along the bottom.
The two of them in the last light of the day, in the window of the first home.
The view from the deck, in glass, for the wall that faces the other way.
The photograph on the pier they still talk about, made into something that hangs.
The dog on the sand, the last holiday. One quiet piece, with no words on it unless you want them.
A suncatcher in the window for the darkest weeks of the year. Order by 30 November.
For Christmas, order a suncatcher by 30 November, and an acrylic, resin or mosaic panel by 19 November.

This looks so pretty when the afternoon light comes through our living room. The warm orange and pink colors make the whole corner feel cozy. I love it!

Got this for my mum's birthday because she loves sunsets. She put it straight on her windowsill and sent me about ten pictures of it!

I wasn't sure where to put this at first but it looks amazing with our decor. The colors are soft and warm without being too bright. Really beautiful piece.
Before your evening takes shape
Any photograph from the evening: the sunset itself, or the people or the pet who were there, lit by it. A phone photograph is plenty. For a portrait, a clear face and good light; for a sunset, the sky and the water in the frame.
Send the people or the pet from any photograph and the sky is drawn behind them: apricot, coral and violet over a calm sea. Or choose Describe it and tell us the evening you want made.
Golden Hour is stained glass on a brass chain, hung in a window, where the real light passes through it: the most literal of the four. Horizon is cut glass sealed in a clear acrylic float frame for the wall. Afterglow is pigment under one glossy flood of clear resin. Last Light is hundreds of glass tiles set by hand.
Yes. A place and a date, or a name, up to 20 characters, in the line field in the studio. Leave it empty for the picture alone; every piece in the collection is shown that way.
